A rock concert, wrapped in a satirical drama, wrapped in ratty flannel. SHINER is the story of teens Margot and Jake who in 1994 start the Grunge Rock Underground National Great Escape after school club. Margot and Jake make a simple pact: See Nirvana live; Jump off the 101 overpass, die happy. FaultLine Theater is proud to present its 4th Bay Area premiere of the year, complete with a live grunge band that will both score the show and play special post-show concerts at the PianoFight Bar. Directed by FaultLine founding member Cole Ferraiuolo, with an all star cast of Adam Magill (SF Playhouse’s Stupid F*cking Bird) and Monica Ho (Renegade Theater Experiment's She Kills Monsters) FaultLine Theater is ready to open up a can of whoop-ass with Christian Durso’s SHINER.
