FaultLine Theater, founded in 2012, has produced 25 full-length theatrical productions, several sketch comedy shows, and a monthly dating show. We develop fresh scripts and bold ideas at the intersection of pop culture and politics, with the goal to engage our audiences in conversation about topics that are pressing, trending, and relevant. Our work is often, but not always, funny, off-beat, and paired well with a beer or two.
FaultLine Theater seeks a Creative Producer for a three-month period from May through July 2019, with the intention of growing the role into a key leadership position with FaultLine Theater. The Creative Producer role is ideal for an organized and motivated can-do person who is interested in producing a fun show and learning more about potentially leading a non-profit theater company.
The Creative Producer plays a vital role in the planning, scheduling, staffing, marketing, and fundraising for a theatrical production. In this role, they will work with the current Co-Artistic Directors, Managing Director, and show director for a three-month period to produce a play. The play has already been selected and will be read/discussed as part of the interview process.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in FaultLine’s current programming and excitement about future possibilities, experience and understanding of theater, demonstrated producing and/or organizational skills, and excellent collaboration skills.

Artistic, cultural, or community networks within the Bay Area.
Marketing, social media, graphic design, or advertising skills.
Technical production skills in media, carpentry, costume, or properties.
Financial management skills including an ability to prepare and manage project budgets.
Knowledge of the Bay Area arts funding and philanthropic landscape and demonstrated capacity to generate funding for projects.
FaultLine Theater has a volunteer staff and pays modest stipends for all production positions. A stipend is available for this position, commensurate with financial need. We will transparently discuss our organization and production finances during the interview process, and are committed to offering the appropriate level of compensation for the right candidate/s.
